The largest assortment of wooden blocks
Every ship requires its own unique set of blocks, and we specialize in delivering exactly what your ship needs. Our blocks come in a wide variety of sizes, types of wood, and types of bindings. We use traditional methods and deliver strong, beautiful custom-made blocks for each ship.
Excellent quality for a block with a long lifespan
Our blocks are made from sustainable, quality wood, and are outfitted with solid bindings and sheaves. With regular maintenance, these blocks will withstand the test of time.
Wood type and customizable finish
We make blocks from teak, acacia, elm, or ash. They can be finished with varnish or oil, or you can receive your blocks unfinished so that the colour can be matched to the colour scheme of the ship. You may also order copper name plates on each of the blocks.
Your choice of bindings and hardware
The blocks are provided with saltwater resistant bindings made of aluminium-bronze or stainless steel (RVS 316). Aluminium-bronze has a very unique appearance, is very strong and can be welded, so it can be altered if needed.
Tested for quality assurance
Blocks are subject to very strong forces. They must be able to be trusted to do their jobs, work optimally, and be safe. Our blocks are tested for their break-strength and can be certified by Lloyds and German Lloyds.
